Kupwara 13 April(KNB):To spread awareness about novel coronavirus among local residents in Kupwara the 8 Sector Army (Lolab Tigers) painted Street graffiti at various places to aware people regarding coronavirus pandemic and provide essential information about the precautions that must be taken by people to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

Army also used awareness boards to keep  people aware of the ill affects and Safety measures against pandemic Covid-19.

An Army officer while talking to Kashmir News Bureau Correspondent told that Many people are not sure what measures they should take to protect themselves and their family. The Army has been regularly updating the people with relevant information through various platforms so painting graffiti on roads and other initiatives are being taken to ensure that people are well-informed and they unknowingly don’t become carriers of the viral infection.

The graffiti was painted at different places in Kupwara to aware people about the precautions that must be taken to contain the spread of Coronavirus  as there is a sense of uncertainty among people because the coronavirus outbreak is spreading in India and some people in villages are still not aware about the ill effects of pandemic added another officer while talking to Kashmir News Bureau Correspondent.

Locals while talking to Kashmir News Bureau Correspondent aappreciated the work and lauded the support provided by the 8 Sector Army in all spheres.(KNB)
