Seven students have been selected for international open karate championship which will be held at Neeta Stadium,Kolkata(W.B) on 29th and 30th of July 2017.
The Championship is being organized by All India Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Federation which is affiliated to World Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Seishinkai International(JAPAN),officially approved by karate Association of India,Recog. By Govt. of India(Ministry of Youth & Sports affairs) & Bengal Olympic Association.
The participants include Rakshit Mehta(8th),ArnavKoushal(8th),GareemaSingh(7th),KatyaniGupta(7th),Harshit Kohli(6th),Yashas Dev Singh(5th)and Srishti Wali(8th).They will be accompanied by Coach Mr. Abhijeet Singh Chib,Black Belt 2nd Dan(KAI).Mr. Ambedkar Gupta,President of AKAJK will be supervising the J&K team.
The principal of the school Mr. Rajesh Rathore wished the Karateka and their coach Abhijeet Singh Chib luck for their Kolkata victory.
