Rajouri Oct 29 : In second successful catch in its Anti Drugs Drive in Rajouri, District Police today nabbed three more peddlers in Thanamandi and recovered Charas from their after nabbing three peddlers in Manjakote.
A team headed by SHO Thanamandi Karan Chalotra under the supervision of SDPO Thanamandi Chowdhary Iftikar laid a naka on Thanamandi Rajouri road and intercepted an Alto car JK11 2248 and during frisking recovered 140 grams of Charas from three boys travelling in it.
They have been identified as Adnan Fayaz son of Fayaz Ahmed resident of Mir Bazar Kulgam, Rajat Meenia son of Ashok Kumar resident of Trikuta Nagar Jammu and Naseem Ahmed son of Nissar Hussain resident of Rajouri ward no 2.
Trio have been arrested and a case FIR 143/2017 US 8/15/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Thanamandi police station.
Earlier Rajouri police also arrested three boys including a cop from Manjakote in drugs peddling and recovered drugs from them.
Pertinent here to mention that Rajouri police led by SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas is undertaking all possible steps to end the problem of drugs from the district and a number of peddlers have been attested with drugs in recent months while two notorious peddlers have been detained under Public Safety Act also.
