21 fresh covid cases in Kashmir, tally jumps to 542

Srinagar, April 24(KNB) : Twenty-one new positive cases of Covid-19 including a minor 6 year old boy have been confirmed in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the total number of affected in the union territory to 542 on Monday.

According to reports, of the fresh positive cases 5 patients are from Baramulla, 5 from Shopian, 3 from Bandipora, 1 from Budgam including a 6 year old from Aderhama of district Kupwara.

As per the Skims Officials of the total 394 samples tested today, 21 came positive while 394 came negative in Skims lab.

With this the total number of positive cases have gone up to 542 out of which seven have died while 137 patients have recovered.(KNB)
