A National Level two days’ workshop on “Effective Research Methodology” was conducted by Business School of SSM College of Engineering & Technology at its campus on 21 st -22 nd November 2017 attracting many participants from within and outside the State.
It hosted speakers comprising professionals and experts from academia. Dr. Rahila Farouqi, Prof. Centre of Management Studies University of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi was the Chief Guest.
The other keynote speakers included Dr. Mehraj-ud- din Shah, Director Business School
Islamia College Sgr, Dr. Khurshid A. Mir Associate Professor GDC Bemina, Prof Iqbal Hakeem of University of Kashmir and Dr. Mushtaq A. Siddiqui Associate Professor, University of Kashmir.
The opening ceremony was initiated by the Vice-Chairperson of the College Mrs. Dilafrose Qazi with lighting the lamp of knowledge along with other dignitaries.
Welcoming the dignitaries Prof. (Dr.) N.A. Shah the Director Business School addressed the audience highlighting the need for gaining knowledge and the importance of research work in the present scenario.
The two days event provided a platform for young researchers in following the pursuit. Various research methods were deliberated in blended pedagogy of input, interaction for practice during the workshop. Participants were asked to focus their research areas on topics that benefit the community, society, nation and the Globe as a whole.
All participants were appreciative of the efforts put up by Business School of the College in terms of learning environment, venue setting, infrastructure provided, study material and content delivery to update and upgrade teachers for the benefit of the students.” The Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Nazir A. Shah closed the ceremony with his valedictory address thanking all the participants,
speakers and organizers for conducting the event successfully.
