Srinagar 22 Aug :Senior leader of Awami ittihaad Party and its Amirakadal Assembly Constituency Candidate Zeeshan Pandith while addressing the public gathering at Amirakadal has assailed the State Government over the proposed move of government that it was going to shift the Indian Army’s artillery firing range from Tosa Maidan meadows to Yusmarg.
“State Government has completely failed to preserve the interests of common Kashmiris and has done one compromise after another.We at AIP would like to Warn the government of dire consequences if its destroys the pristine and world famous tourist spot of Kashmir (Yusmarg) by converting it into firing range.The whole issue can boil down into a big mess and is simply intolerable,” observed Zeeshan Pandith.
Zeeshan also reaffirmed that the lack of basic necessities and infrastructure are marring Amirakadal constituency, and laid importance on fact that Amirakadal Constituency being the heart of Kashmir is also fighting for socio-economic and political problems of entire Jammu &Kashmir.
Pertinently, Zeeshan Pandith also lambasted the State Government for its lame-duck approach while dealing with the issue of injustice committed on Kashmiri students in outside states especially the expulsion of 10 Kashmiri students from Meerut in an unjust manner.
On the occasion, Zeeshan Pandith appealed to electorate of Amirakadal to vote in wisdomful manner as being the heart and financial hub of Jammu & Kashmir state, the constituency plays key role in overall progress of the state. Zeeshan stated “I appeal to people to use their vote in favour of pro-people proven political party Awami Ittihaad Party so as to preserve and protect interests of Kashmir masses.”
