Srinagar 01 March (KNB): Two panchayat members hailing from Khimber joined the Apni Party on Monday at the Party office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.
A statement accessed by Kashmir News Bureau said that Abdul Majeed Nayak (Sarpanch-Halqa Khimber) and Fayaz Ahmed Reshi (Panch-Takiya Sangh Reshi) joined the party in presence of Provincial President Kashmir Mohammed Ashraf Mir.
“Besides them Aijaz Ahmed Nayak, Javid Ahmed Mir and Sheikh Adil Mushtaq also joined the Apni Party,” read the statement.
However, Mir welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and impressed upon them to work diligently for the welfare of the people in their respective areas and strengthen the party at grassroot levels. (KNB)
