Kulgam 18 March (KNB): A traffic policeman was hit by a speedy truck in South Kashmir’s Qazigund, which left him dead on Thursday early morning hours.
According to the police official, the deceased traffic policeman was identified as Mohammad Shafi Bhat, a resident of Anantnag, who was hit by a truck in the early morning in Qazigund’s Bonigam and died at the spot of the accident.
However, the truck driver was later on arrested by the police, who had escaped from the spot of the incident after killing the traffic cop by the truck’s hit.
Pertinently, the police have initiated the probe into the matter. (KNB)
