Top Hizb Commander among Five militants Killed in Shopian Encounter

 

Srinagar, June 07 (KNB): Three militants among the five killed in an encounter on Sunday with security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, have been identified including a top HM Commander.

Three militants killed in an encounter have been identified as Farooq Ah Nalli, a top HM Commander resident of Kulgam, active since 2015, Saklain Ahmad wager, resident of Reben, Safait Amin Nayak resident of Babapora, while identification of other two is yet to be ascertained.Moreover, among the two unknown militants one is to be believed a foreigner while three

AK 47 & two Pistol were recovered from the site of encounter. Police has registered a case and initiated an investigation in the matter

“On a credible input about the presence of militants in Reban area of Shopian, a cordon and search operation was launched by the Police, Army’s 01RR and CRPF in the area on Sunday morning,” police spokesperson told News agency Kashmir News Bureau which triggered in encounter.

“Top Hizb Commander among five militants were killed in the encounter,” he said.

The encounter ended with the killing of five militants, while as the identification of three slain militants has been revealed and other two is yet to be ascertained.(KNB)
