Srinagar 01 March (KNB): On Monday late morning, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) had allegedly tried to take his own life after shooting himself with his service rifle in Jammu and Kashmir summer capital Srinagar.
The officials have identified the SSB personnel as Gangan Jha, who allegedly tried to commit suicide on Monday morning in Srinagar’s Bemina.
However, the SSB man was later shifted to the nearby hospital JVC Bemina for treatment.
Talking to JVC Bemina’s Medical Superintendent, Dr Shifa Deva, she confirmed the incident and said that the SSB personnel had suffered a little injury on the left side of the nape of his neck and is stable.
She further said that the injured SSB personnel’s pulse rate is also normal. (KNB)
