TKSNN: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had many fans worried as he was rushed to Nanavati Hospital after suffering an injury on the sets of his forthcoming film Happy New Year. Directed by Farah Khan, the film, which is heavy on dance sequences, saw the actor injured himself while shooting at JW Marriott Hotel in Juhu early today. Initial reports state that the actor was shooting for a dance sequence when a door fell on him and he hurt his face and head.
But the injuries were not too grave and King Khan’s followers can rest assured. Nanavati Hospital’s casualty department said the actor underwent a MRI scan and has left the hospital.
Shah Rukh’s publicist released the following statement: “Mr Khan had a minor accident on the sets while shooting. He has a minor injury and has got the necessary medical aid. Mr Khan is absolutely fine now. Thank you for all your wishes!”
Happy New Year is an ensemble film which also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah. It is slated to release during Diwali.
Farah Khan, who accompanied him to the hospital, said he is fine now, and would be going back for the shoot.
