Employees working in tehsil north office hazratbal stopped their work and decided to go on a pen down strike on Thursday against the administration.
Employee blamed that they are working without wages from last five months and has knocked each and every door but all of the concern administrative officers acted as a deaf to their demands.
“It is now impossible to make our survival happen as from last five months we don’t even received a single rupee against our work,” president Sheikh Mohammad Farooq said.
He further said that as known to all that salary is the only way out for a government employee to fulfill his daily needs so one can easily understand that what we are dealing with now days.
“we are around forty employee and all of us go through sufferings so it’s not wrong to say that many families are suffering due the delay of salaries from last few months and now we are not even able to pay the tuition fee for the kids and installments against the bank loans,” One of the employee said.
He cautioned the government if it remains insensitive towards this issue, the employees would be constrained to announce phase of protest will continue.
