Hyderabad: A Kashmir Student namely Mudasir Kamran from Pulwama, who was going P.HD in English Literature from Foreign Language University in Hyderabad was found dead in his room.
The body of the deceased by found hanging over the ceiling of the hostel room.
Sources have revealed that the deceased was picked up by Hyderabad police one day back before the incident.
A group of students contacted the Bureau Chief of the Kashmir scenario over telephone at 1:00 am and alleged that a students has been found dead in mysterious circumstances in the hostel room.
While talking one of the students said,” He was picked by the Hyderabad Police and was kept in cell and was also tortured and humiliated by the police, we don’t know the exact reason of his arrest but when he was released, marks of torture by police were witnessed on his body with torn clothes.”
It is pertinent to mention that Mudasir Kamran led the funeral prayers for Muhammad Afzal Guru and was continuously called by the police for questioning.
Today in the evening few students saw the body of the deceased hanging over the ceiling and they immediately informed the administration. The vice chancellor didn’t approach on the spot after hue and cry by the students.
Almost 15 Kashmir students are studying in the university and the incident has spread terror in their minds and hearts.
When last report came massive protest was going on. Meanwhile the body of the deceased was still in the university Hostel and students were demanding a complete probe on it.
However at 4:00 AM Concerned Hyderabad police restored to force on the Protesting students in Hyderabad.
One of the witness has said, “They restored to lathi carge and by means of force dragged the deceased body.
After the news of the mysterious death of Mudasir Kamran spread in the valley, a sudden shutdown took place in the home town of the Deceased and incidents of stone pelting were also reported.The Majlis-e-Mushawarat while condemning the unfortunate act stated,” Mudasir Kamran is “Afzal Sanni” He was the person who led the funeral prayers of Afzal guru. We won’t let this blood go waste and have called for a march to Pulwama.”
Later the body of the deceased was handed over to the family and it will likely reach today
