Mega Event “RUN FOR HERITAGE” was organized by Rabia Baji (Chairperson AICURD) in collaboration with youth service and Sports on 08th July 2013. The race was from Cheshmashahi to Nishat. The chief guest for the event was Mr. Taj Mohi-ud-din Minister for Youth services and sports. The other guests that were present in the event are:- Mr. Nayeem Agarwal, Director General Youth Services and Sports, District Officer Youth Services and Sports, Miss Shugufta ji Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports, Miss Zahida ji Assistant Director Tourism. The Sponsors of the Event were Khyber Milk, Go2kashmir and Hatrick. The winners of the event were:- Muzaffar Maqbool from Boys Higher Secondary Budgam who won first Prize of Rs 20,000. Hamid Aziz from Islamia College was declared second winner who won Rs 10,000 and Ishtiyaq from Boys Higher Secondary Magam was declared third winner who won Rs 5,000.
