Srinagar, June 18(KNB): Jammu and Kashmir Administration on Thursday revoked the detention order of former Minister Nayeem Akhtar.
A day after Government set the senior National Conference leader and former minister, Ali Mohammad Sagar free after his PSA detention was set aside by the J&K High Court,
Public Safety Act (PSA) of former Minister and senior PDP leader Nayeem Akther has been revoked by Jammu and Kashmir Administration on Thursday.
Pertinently, Nayeem and Sagar were taken into detention on August 5, when article 370 was abrogated and the state was bifurcated into two union territories of J&K and Ladakh.
As per the reports, PSA on the son of Muhamamd Akbar Lone has also been revoked.
Moreover, the J & K administration had revoked the Public Safety Act(PSA) of almost 31 politicians and activists in Kashmir Valley, amid Coronavirus outbreak.
Meanwhile, Former chief minister and chief of PDP, Mehbooba Mufti is still under detention in the high security Gupkar Road residence in Srinagar.(KNB)
