Baramulla,14 May (KNB): Amid ongoing crisis over the pandemic, an audio clip of a conversation between SDM Tangmarg and a local from red zone village of Hardu Ichloo Tangmarg has gone viral on social media over the defunct transformer of the village.
In the audio clip SDM Tangmarg can be heard blaming the caller for not cooperating with the administration while he was requesting SDM to provide the area with a new transformer as the residents are facing problem at sehri time due to lack of electricity, “You people are not cooperating, you have spread Covid there and spoiled whole area,” SDM rageously said over phone.
The caller claims that the whole area is fully cooperating with the administration while many suspected patients have been taken to the hospitals via ambulance visiting the area several times to which SDM denying raged out at the caller and said, ” No one came for testing when even 20 persons were expected, you won’t be able to get the transformer unless and until you won’t cooperate with the administration.”
Pertinently,the residents of Ichloo village alleged though on the directions of SDM Tangmarg the transformer was shifted to workshop, and has been repaired there 10 days back, but SDM Tangmarg has strictly denied to provide them a transformer.
Residents while talking to Kashmir News bureau on phone said, ” Few positive cases were reported from the village while some persons may probably not have cooperated with administration but that doesn’t mean whole village will suffer because of fault of some people,we are without electricity from past 15 days,SDM misbehaves,and asks for 20 suspected persons to send them for testing only then they shall give us transformer.”
Meanwhile 12 new cases were reported from the union territory jammu and Kashmir taking the total toll of positive cases to 983 with 494 cases active, 11 deaths and 466 recoveries so far. ( KNB)
