SRINAGAR: Reportedly Two militants today managed to attack a CRPF camp near JK Police Public School. Heavy firing was reported from both the sides. Meanwhile 5 CRPF personals have been killed, along with two militants; and reports of 7 CRPF men have been injured so far.
SSP, Sringar Ashiq Bukhari, while talking to media has said, “It was a suicidal attack. Five CRPF jawans killed, 3 CRPF jawans and 3 civilians are injured in the attack.”
Also the Principal of the Police public school has denied the reports by some electronic media channels that the attack was targetted on the school.
When the last reports came, police along with CRPF had started the search operation. Meanwhile incidents of stone pelting have also been reported in Bemina area. Police is trying to disperse the crowd.
