Srinagar 07 Nov(KNB): Former buruecrat Gazanfar Ali is mulling to join politics in coming days while some prominent political parties have launched a campaign to woo him into their fold.
“Every one approaching him is ready to provide him space to utilize his decades long expertise in public dealing,” an insider, who is part of negotiations told KNB.
Ali has served as Director General Youth Services & Sports, SMC commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Shopian and Director, Rural Development, Kashmir and other vital posts in the government. His long career has given him a good hand in understanding government functioning with wide expertise in dealing with public dealings.
People close to Ali confides to KNB that he is ready to move into political space and be part of larger political spectrum.
“Ali has already made his mind and he is being approached by certain parties,” people close to Ali claimed.
They said that Ali’s long career has made him an able and ace professional and his experience is being seen by political parties as feather in a cap.
Another person near Ali claimed that he is being approached by a certain party with large canvass and are offering him a good position to cater to his experience.
“His people friendly career makes another virtue that political parties are looking at. His service record is adding to his value as a politician,” they claimed.
Even though there is no clarity as to which political party he will finally join but his decision to join the political spectrum is already seen by many as a good move.
Many friends and colleagues have assured Ali of support, regardless of his choice of party, due to his Deligience and humble nature.
“His humility can be turned into voting by any political party he wishes to join,” a political expert said.(KNB)
