Sopore 8 April(KNB):An encounter between militants and security forces is underway in Gulabad Arampora village of Sopore in north Kashmir’sBaramulla District.
Militants and security forces are exchanging gunshots in Gulabad village in the area.
Acting on a specific input about the presence of militants in the area a search operation was launched at Gulabad Arampora village, in the jurisdiction of police station Sopore, by Army’s 22Rr, CRPF and Sopore Police.The cordon and search operation turned into an encounter as the joint operation party was fired upon.
According to sources two to three millitants are believed to be trapped in the area.
