Srinagar, May 13 (KNB): Paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF) on Wednesday morning shot dead a civilian in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
According to the reports, a man was fired upon by the CRPF hitting him around right shoulder and chest while he was going in his vehicle in Kawoosa Khalisa village area of central Kashmir Budgam.
Police officials while confirming this incident said that a civil vehicle fled from 2 nakas in Narbal kawoosa which was fired upon by CRPF party in which one person got injured and has has been shifted to hospital.
The deceased identified as Peer Mehrajudin of Makhama Beerwah Budgam was shifted to SHMS hospital Srinagar in critical condition. However, he was declared as brought dead by the doctors who attended upon him at the hospital.(KNB)
