Srinagar, June 4 (KNB): With another death of a 60-year-old man due to Covid-19 from Noorbagh area of Srinagar, the death toll climbed to 35 across Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
As per the reports, the elderly man besides testing positive for Coronavirus was also suffering from
pleural effusion also known as ‘water on the lungs, he was referred from SMHS hospital to CD hospital two days ago after he tested positive for the novel coronavirus where today he succumbed to the virus and with this became the eighth death across Srinagar district.
As of now, the death toll due to the virus in J&K has gone upto 35, with Srinagar district having the highest number of deaths 8, followed by Baramulla 7, Anantnag five, Kulgam four, two each from Shopian, Budgam and Jammu while one death each has been reported from Bandipora, Kupwara Doda and Udhampur.
