JAMMU, MARCH 10- As part of the International Women’s’ Day celebrations, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages organized an all-women composite mushiara at the K L Saigal Hall here today. Those who participated in today’s mushiara included Prof. Rita Jintendra, Shakunta Deepmala, Kanchan Kiran, Sharda Sahni, Darshan Kour, Avneet Kour, Gul Aksar Gul, Vijaya Thakur, Dolly Arwal and Anila Singh Chadak. The poetic compositions were in different languages including Urdu, Dogri, Kashmiri, Pahari and Hindi.
Secretary to Government, Social Welfare Department, Mohammad Shafi Rather was Chief Guest. Present among others were Aamir Ali, Secretary/Executive Director J&K State Social Welfare Board, Nahid Soz, Managing Director Women Development Corporation, Hafiza Muzaffar, State Mission Director National Mission for Empowerment of Women and Anjali Sharma, In-charge Director Doordarshan Kendra Jammu.
