During its continuous drive against the Drug Smuggling Rajouri Police arrested two more persons namely Mohd. Imran S/O Md. Shafeeq R/O Darhali, Rajouri and Raja Attar Mirza S/O Mohib ul Hassan and recovered 350 centigrams of Heroine recovered m. During routine checking at Thanamandi, a Pulsor bearing Registration No JK11/6439 checked and found 350 centigrams of Heroine from theirs possession. In this connection FIR No . 129/2017 U/s 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Thanamandi and investigation started.
More arrests are expected in the area. So far 18/19 notorious drug peddlers were arrested at Thanamandi from whose possession heroine and cannabis were recovered and subsequently cases were registered against them under the relevant sections of law at P/S Thanamandi.
The drive against this menace is continued under the supervision of IFTKHAR A. CHOUDHARY, SDPO Thanamandi & Mohd Yousaf, Addl SP Rajouri under the directions of YOUGAL MANHAS, SSP Rajouri.
Responsible citizens of the area have hailed the action of Rajouri Police and assured full cooperation in the future against the drug menace.
