SRINAGAR, FEB 14: Strongly condemning killings of two civilians in the firing of security forces in Pulwama area, president of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mehbooba Mufti, termed this incident as unfortunate and uncalled for.She lamented that the unfortunate incident, which can be avoided, has claimed lives of two students including a female one and injuring nearly a dozen civilians.
In a statement issued to Kashmir scenario here today Ms Mufti expressed her heartfelt condolences to the families, who lost their dear ones in the firing. She said that such incidents are uncalled for and security forces must observe restrain while dealing with civilians in such a situation. PDP president expressed her solidarity with the families of firing victims.
Meanwhile Mohammad Khalil Band, MLA, Pulwama has also condemned killings of two civilians in the firing. Expressing his anguish over the unfortunate incident, Mr Band said that security forces must adopt restrain to avoid killings of civilians.
