65-years old Rajouri man dies of Covid-19, death toll at 53 in J&K

Srinagar, June 12 (KNB): With one more death of a Covid-19 elderly patient from Rajouri, the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir rose to 53 on Friday.

As per the reports, a 65-year-old man from Rajouri died at Government Medical College Jammu, ten days after he tested positive of the pathogen when he was admitted as he had fallen off from stairs as result of which had suffered injuries in head.

As of now, Rajouri has reported first fatality due to the virus and also takes Jammu division’s toll to six, Srinagar district with 12 deaths has the highest fatalities, followed by Baramulla ten, Kulgam eight, Anantnag six, three each in Shopian, Kupwara and Jammu, two each in Pulwama and Budgam while one death each has been reported from Bandipora, Doda, Udhampur and Rajouri.(KNB)
