Srinagar 21 April (KNB): With the detection of 27 new positive cases for deadly covid 19 on Wednesday in Kashmir Valley, taking the such cases to 407 in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir News Bureau, J&K Spokesperson Rohit Kansal on Wednesday said, 27 fresh positive cases have been reported from Kashmir Valley.
“27 new cases reported today. All from Kashmir Division. Total now 407. Jammu-56 and Kashmir-351,” Tweeted Rohit Kansal.
Taking to Kashmir News Bureau, Skims official said, “Out of 489 samples tested today, 25 came positive, while 464 came negative.”
Among 25 cases, 14 are from Shopian, 06 from Bandipora, 04 from Kupwara and 01 from Baramulla District,” he further said.
Meanwhile, only 2 cases have been reported from CD Hospital Srinagar, 01 from Bandipora and 01 from Anantnag.
“91 patients who tested positive for deadly coronavirus are stable and are recovering in Bandipora.” said CMO Bandipora Dr Tajamul .
Pertainely, Bandipora is the worst hit district in Jammu and Kashmir of having around 97 positive patients.
The total number of COVID19 cases in Jammu & Kashmir is 407. 351 are from the Kashmir division & 56 are from the Jammu division. (KNB)
