A 10-year-old was forcefully married to a 40-year-old man and allegedly raped by him in Chanderkote of Ramban, said police.
According to a police official five culprits were arrested and booked under various sections of Prevention of Child Marriage Act and Rape.
He said, police have arrested five persons identified as – Romesh Lal (groom), Thakroo, Bittu, Krishan Chand and Romesh Kumar.
He further said, “More arrests are expected in coming days and police is investigating the case”.
