Srinagar:
Shri Obaidur Rehman, Addl Director General (M&C), Press Information Bureau, Government of India, Srinagar, has been nominated as Chairperson of the Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC), at Srinagar Station.
The order to this effect was issued by Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, New Delhi on May 14, 2013 vide Order No: 0-16011/33/2013-PMS.
Presently Shri Bashir A. Malik, Director News All India Radio, Srinagar having additional charge of DD News, Srinagar, is the IMPCC Chairperson.
Shri Rehman is the senior most officers among the Ministry’s Media Units in J&K, who has served as Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, and Govt of India for over 3 years in J&K. He joined PIB, Srinagar as Addl Director General (M&C) after his promotion in June last year. [PIB]
