SRINAGAR:- Two top Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant were killed in Kashmir’s Shopian on Thursday in a gunfight, government forces said.
They said the militants reportedly Waseem Malla of Pehlipora Shopian and Naseer Pandit of Karimabad Pulwama were killed in a brief gunfight Vihil Shopian.
Pandit, a former cop, had ran away with weapons from former minister Altaf Bukhari’s residence in Srinagar last year.
The duo was part of Hizb commander Burhan Wani’s group.
