We don’t recognize so called Amarnath Shrine Board: Inqilabi

Srinagar: Chief Patron Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi Sunday said India’s Kashmir policy is based on “hypocrisy and political deceit”.

In a statement here, Inqilabi said India talks of peace with Pakistan and solving Kashmir issue peacefully, “but on other Indian leaders with imperialist mindset want to further their military occupation using cultural and religious aggression.”
“We don’t recognize so called Amarnath Shrine Board. The recent statement of board shows India treats Kashmir as it’s is colony,” he said.
MeA patron said “Indian leaders don’t understand that due to lingering Kashmir dispute entire South Asia is sitting on a powder keg.”
“We are not against Amarnath pilgrimage. It was a simple religious activity. But Delhi darbar politicized the pilgrimage so as to browbeat Kashmiris,” he added.
“Indian leaders don’t understand the sensitive Kashmir situation,” said Inqilabi adding neither they take the fragile environment here into consideration.”
He said extending Amarnath cave yatra duration will badly Kashmir environment, ecology and bio-diversity.
“Pahalgam glaciers provide drinking water to entire valley. Ecological imbalance in the area will severely affect its glaciers and deprive people of drinking water,” he said.
MeA patron said environmental experts should take “serious note of it and aware people of its fallout.”
