He rued over the loss of lives both at border and in the hinterland and said that along with this  properties perish and society gets virtually brutalized with displacements taking  out the sheen of life   . Madani said  in such a situation worst is witnessed in loss of values that would otherwise shape civilizations , the cultures and  the polity in which humanity would flourish.

Madani made a fervent appeal to  Governments of India and Pakistan to acknowledge miseries of their own people and  rise to the occasion for their sake in joining the hands for friendly relations and co-existence . He also made an appeal to people of Kashmir to extend their hand of cooperation in facilitating this course . He said if this happens we can see the days where  a revival for  a meaningful spell of reconciliation is made possible . He said we wish that the  atmosphere of acrimony and hatred is changed into mutual understanding and positive relationships  and people are allowed to live in peace.
