Handwara: Two Militants were Killed on Sunday in an brief encounter in Waripora area of Handwara of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
According to officials, a joint team of police and 21 RR cordoned off the Waripora area following inputs about the presence of militant.
The identity of the slain militants was not immediately established, said the official.
