Dooru: Minister for tourism and also the congress candidate for Dooru constituency G A Mir, Monday visited Hiller Shahabad, Bemdall, Fatroo, Changoo and other related villages of Dooru constituency and attended various public meetings. The public meetings later turned into big rallies as a large number of people shouted slogans in favor of Mir and rallied through the roads amid Congress attires.
Mir said during these rallies that he devoted his whole life for the people. From last 12 years, in addition to developmental programmes in Dooru constituency, I remained always at your disposal for which everyone is aware,” he said and added that during September devastation of flood throughout the state, or during the during snow fall in valley particularly in his constituency, “I used to drive dozers myself to rescue my people.
“I am a peasant and a labourer doing labour work for my people,” Mir said.
