Rally in memory of Burhan Wani organized by WKFM in UK

London, Jul 08: World Kashmir Freedom Movement (WKFM) Saturday organized a strong protest at Birmingham United Kingdom to mark the first martyrdom anniversary of eminent pro freedom icon Burhan Muzzafar Wani, who was in this day killed by Indian occupational forces at Kokernag Kashmir an trigged an uprising in which over 120 people were killed and thousands were maimed.

The rally lead by Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur, was participated by hundreds of nonresident Kashmiris and eminent activists.

President World Kashmir Freedom Movement Muzzammil Thakur speaking on the occasion stated – ” Burhan Wani coined his name forever in the annals of resistance history and emerged as never dying symbol against the occupation and tyranny. Time Indian state heeds to realities and settles the Kashmir dispute as per right to self Determination and end it’s illegal occupation.”

From the town of Tral , Burhan Wani has risen to be global personality with profound impact of his bravery , thought and values recognised by many countries , observed Muzzammil Thakur.

He further termed the unresolved Kashmir issue as ‘ Nuclear flashpoint’ that can wreck havoc on entire region. He stressed upon the international community to pressurize India for the settlement of Kashmir issue to stop the bloodshed in Kashmir.
