National union of Journalists (India) held its general elections after two years.In a development first Kashmiri, President Jammu & Kashmir Journalists Union,Mr Syed Junaid ul Islam was unopposedly elected as National Secretary NUJI North India.
NUJ India is largest Journalist trade union in India with almost 20 thousand members from all states. NUJI is member of International Federation of Jouranlists, Brussels , Belgium, working in 140 countries and 6 lack members all over the world .
All highly degnified office holders in NUJI central body has congratulated syed Junaid ul Islam on his appointment. Jouranlists fraternity across Whole Kashmir has forwarded their best wishes to Syed Junaid.
Meanwhile General secretary, executive committee, District coordinators and core members of Jammu & Kashmir Journalists union welcomed the result of annual election of NUJI and heartly congratulated its President Mr Syed Junaid ul Islam.
Jammu and Kashmir journalists union is one of biggest journalists union in the state , basic unit of NUJ I and member of IFJ. JKJU has above 400 members in the state .
” I am fully aware about what responsibility has come on my shoulders . I will make sure that NUJ India will take new heights and Jouranlists in whole J&K will get chances to represent themselves on every platform ” Said, Syed Junaid Ul Islam.
