Militants Abducted SPO In Tral, Police Launch Massive Manhunt

Pulwama 27 July (KNB): A Special police officer (SPO), Mudasir Ahmad Lone of Chankatar village in Tral was abducted by suspected militants on Friday night from his home in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.




According to reports reached to Kashmir News Bureau that “Mudasir Ahmad Lone was posted at police post-Reshipora, Awantipora Pulwama district, where he works as a cook.

However, Police has launched massive manhunt to trace the abducted cop Mudasir, a resident of Chankatar village of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, is reported to have been abducted from his house. While security forces have launched an operation to trace him.

Earlier on July 20, Mohammad Saleem police constable was abducted from his home in  Kulgam district on July 20. A day later his bullet-riddled body was recovered from Hawoora area of Kulgam. On July 5, Militants abducted Javid Ahmad Dar from medical shop in Shopian who was later was killed and his body was found in Kulgam district.

On June 14, Aurangzeb, an Army Solider who was going to celebrate eid with his family in Poonch was abducted by militants, later his bullet-ridden body was found at Gusoo Pulwama next day.
