MEDICAL CAMP Held AT CHEWA

A Medical camp was organised by 13 Rashtriya Rifles (KUMAON) under the aegis of Headquarters 3 Sector Rashtriya Rifles at Chewa Tehsil-Sonawari, District-Bandipora on 15 May 2013 on a grand scale to provide health and medical care to the civil population.
A team of three doctors included two Army Medical Officers and one civil Doctor attended all health related complaints of the local populace in Sonawari tehsil. A total 898 paitents including 144 males,  274 females, 480 children benefited from the camp organised by the Indian Army.
Army Officers present at the camp exhorted the locals to obtain maximum benefits from such medical camp organised by Army on regular intervals. The camp was welcomed whole heartedly by the locals.
“Indian Army has been involved in large number of other welfare projects to help the locals, which in turn has earned a lot of Goodwill and appreciation from all”, an army official said.
