A Joint team of SOG Shopian, 44RR, 62RR, 1RR of Army and 14th bn of CRPF Cordoned 13 villages of District Shopian early morning today.
The areas where search operation is going on are Sugan, Heff, Shirmaal, Nagbal, Barbugh, Chitragaam, Turkawangam, Maldeera, Kashew, Kadgam and Nullayposhwari.
Recently there was surge in militant attacks on political workers, and civilians in the Shopian area. Till this report was filed searches were going on in these areas.
