Lashkar identifies ‘traitors’ Asks them to desist from anti-freedom activities

Srinagar, July 1: Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) has come up with a list of 24 persons from North Kashmir who according to the outfit are not only ‘drug addicts’ but also working for Indian Security Agencies. “We warn these persons (names withheld) of dire consequences, if they do not mend their ways,” the LeT statement issued to CNS reads.

Those who according to the LeT Spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi have been acting as informers of Indian agencies hail from different areas of South Kashmir’s Baramullah and Sopore towns. These areas included Noorbagh, Kanspora, Ganaie Hamam, Tawheed Ganj, Qazi Hamam, Jamia Qadeem, Khawja Sahab, Drangbal, Syed Karim, Khawja Bagh, Jalal Sahab, Bangla Bagh and Iqbal Colony.

“These people are involved in anti-freedom movement activities. They are responsible for drug peddling, violence, burglary, waywardness, loot and arson. We appeal their parents to persuade their children to stop aiding Indian Army. We will put them to death if they don’t mend themselves. We appeal people to cooperate with Mujhadeen to curb all anti-freedom movement elements,” the statement reads. (CNS)
