KWF steps in to lend a helping hand to frontline workers in Ajas Bandipora

 

Srinagar, May 23 (KNB): Khushi Welfare Foundation an NGO is lending a helping hand to the front line workers of district administration and Primary Health Centers of Ajas Bandipora by providing Personal Protective Equipment kits(PPE) besides distributing Food Kits to more than 250 families in three phases since mid April.

In the entire precarious scenario of pandemic Covid-19, Khushi Welfare Foundation has been helping the frontline workers in tehsil Ajas and adjoining areas of District Bandipora which was the worst hit Covid-19 District by donating them medical kits, PPE, masks and providing necessary food kits to many poor families.

Pertinently, Khushi Welfare is targeting to distribute 150 more Eid kits containing food and Bakery items to needful families on the auspicious eve of Eid.

While taking to Kashmir News Bureau Chief Secretary Mr Junaid Rather said, ” Besides donating PPE kits to the frontline workers we are also providing door to door food delivery to the needy and poor. We were targeting to provide basic food kits and bakery items to almost 150 families ahead of the Eid.”

He further added, “We have helped close to 150 families today and have provided them food kits including oil, sugar and other essential commodities as that of bakery items.” (KNB)
