Kashmiri Students Harassed By College Administration Outside Kashmir “Condemnable”: Dr Ridwana Sanam

Anantnag 02 April: An independent parliamentary candidate for Anantnag constituency termed the harassing of Kashmiri students and charging of unnecessary fines for running away post-Pulwama attack by Dehradun based colleges as “unethical and pathetic” approach towards Kashmiris.

Dr Ridwana said ” To fine a student for not attending the class post Pulwama is totally wrong and every human being with rational thinking will be astonished by this irresponsible decision by college authorities. The situation which arised post attack has been obvious for students to save their lives and such decisions will only add to alienation of young people towards India.”

She further said “Students are future of the society and we cannot let anyone spoil our future, it is our collective duty as a political personalities to look into such issues.”

She further urged the central and Uttarakhand government to investigate the matter and blacklist those colleges who are harrasing the Kashmiri students.”

It’s a total harassment initially by the fellow students and law authorities and now the faculty. It will leave a long lasting impression and is leading to a serious mental trauma old our youth. It is not acceptable
