Kashmir: Sports Council making positive intervention

Srinagar, Dec 02 (KNB): In the recent statement police chief of Jammu and Kashmir S.P vaid said “government has a option to engage youth to sports  to keep them away from  the Militancy”.
According to ground reports, after taking charge Sectary Sports council Waheed ur  Rehman para has created new scenario in sports field by introducing different schemes in Jammu and Kashmir.




“Kashmir is now the competitor to others states of India in every game and important sports, would like to thank Sectary sports council by introducing transparency and new era of vibrancy  in Sports council,” said International coach Fasil Ali.
He added “By giving Indoor stadium to every district of Kashmir Valley, Sports council now have a option to construct and develop a high level indoor stadium in Srinagar only where all international games including Kick boxing, wushu and other important games can be played.”
Importantly, The Union Minister projected for generous funding from the Union Government for rebuilding of sports infrastructure in the state and informed that we will rebuild  the sports infrastructure in the state which was worst-hit during September 2014 floods. It is worth mentioning here that after Tajamul Islam historical win against the USA player in World kick boxing championship in Italy, many youths are seen in sports field. 
Pertinently, Bandipora created history by holding the football match under lights on 25 Aug. The match was played at Sher-i-Kashmir sports stadium Bandipora on Wednesday evening between Real Kashmir FC and Muhammdan FC Sopore. (KNB)
