Indo-Pak relations can’t improve unless Kashmir is resolved: Basit




Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit has said that relations between Pakistan and India couldn’t improve unless the resolution of Kashmir issue.

“In an interview, he said Kashmir dispute is fundamental issue between the two countries and efforts to resolve this issue unfortunately could not succeed in the past,” reported Radio Pakistan.

“Pakistan has always welcomed mediation offers and expressed its readiness to find a way for resolution of Kashmir dispute,” Basit was quoted as saying in the report.(G.K)
