Srinagar, May 25 (KNB): An encounter rages between militants and government forces in Khur Hanjipora area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.
As per the reports, a cordon and search operation was launched by joint team of Police, army’s 34 RR and CRPF in Hanjipora following some credible inputs, as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering an encounter.
However, Sources revealed two to three militants are believed to be trapped,while no militant has been killed so far.
According to the reports, Clashes erupted near Encounter site in Manzgam between Security Forces and Stone pelters.
The encounter was still going on as per the last reports.(KNB)
