‘Fanatic Rioters’ Enter Jammu City, Lakhanpur Entry-Point Sealed

Authorities Monday sealed Lakhanpur Entry Point after Muslims in Jammu revealed that hundreds of ‘Hindu zealot rioters’ from outside states are mulling to enter into Jammu city as they did during 2008 Amarnath agitation.
A Muslim cleric from Jammu told a local news agency, CNS that hundreds of rioters have already managed to enter into Jammu city and they have informed the government about this development and demanded an immediate crack down on them.
“We have proofs that at least five hundred rioters are staying with the BJP, RSS and VHP leaders and it is they who are attacking our Masjids here. They must be identified and thrown out from the Jammu City,” one of the Jammu Muslim said adding that some top police officials have assured them that no rioter from outside state would be allowed to make an entry into the city.
Reports said that Hindu ‘fanatics’ are hell bent to put Jammu city on fire. A senior police official told on condition of anonymity that soon after receiving inputs the government sealed Lakhanpur Entry-point and no one from outside is being allowed to enter into Jammu city.
Highly placed sources told  that some Hindu fanatic leaders have provided accommodation to these rioters in their houses and party headquarters. “These rioters are acting as Amarnath and Vishno Devi pilgrims. They stay in tents meant for Yatris and it becomes very difficult for the government to differentiate between real Yatri’s and rioters,” one of the officers said.
A top senior officer said that government would not allow anyone to exploit the situation. “We have learnt lessons from 2008 agitation and no one would be allowed to repeat that,” he said.
