Escaping after ramming three minors, man in North Kashmir crushed boy to death

Baramulla May 09 (KNB): An untrained driver in north Kashmir Rafiabad area Thursday after ramming two minors tried to run away wherein crush another boy to death, creating panic in the area.

Reports reaching Kashmir News Bureau (KNB), that a man who was driving a vehicle to learn driving was arrested for crushing one boy to death and ramming their vehicle into another three children injuring them critically in Khahmoh Rafiabad.




The two children were walking at Khahmoh Rafiabad where the person namely Tariq Khan S/O Yousuf Khan was practicing driving.

“When he rammed two children he panicked and instead of applying brakes he used accelerator and tried to flee from the spot and after crossing few meters in very high speed he rammed and crushed another two children who were playing outside their home” told locals while talking to Kashmir News Bureau.

Soon after the incident all the four children were rushed to District Hospital Baramulla where one boy namely Moin Ahmad Khan S/O Parvez Ah Khan was declared brought dead and another three injured children were shifted to SKIMS Soura for further medical treatment.

Pertinent to mention here that one girl who sustained major injuries is still in very critical condition and is being treated at SKIMS Soura.




Police has arrested the man and a case has been registered Vide No 32/2018 u/s 279,337,304A in police station Panzalla and further investigation has been taken up. (KNB)
