Srinagar, Sep 14: Top LeT Militant Abu Ismail and his associate reportedely killed in a brief encounter at Aribagh area of Kanipora in outskirt’s of Srinagar City on Thursday late afternoon.
Official sources have not yet identified the militants.
According to sources, a joint team of SOG Srinagar and army’s 55 RR cordoned off the Aribagh area following a specific input about the presence of militants.
As such the joint team of forces intensified the searches, the militants hiding in the area opened fire ensued an encounter.
