District Level Review Cum Consultative Committee meeting

Pulwama: A DLRCC meeting was held at District Administrative Complex, recently under the leadership of District Development Commissioner, Pulwama, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Lone.
Meeting was attended by District Level Bank Managers of various Banks, Representatives of Reserve Bank of India, State Bank India, Punjab National Bank and other concerned Banks and the District Level Officers of allied departments.
Lead Bank Manager, Mr. Mohammad Syed Shah told in the meeting that against the Financial target of Rs. 342 Crore and fiscal target 15003 beneficiaries under priority sector, the Banks have disbursed Rs. 255.92 Crore to 21418 beneficiaries upto last quarter of financial year 2012-13 till ending May 2013.
The meeting was informed that under agriculture and horticulture sector including KCC Scheme banks have disbursed Rs. 199.58 Crores to 19500 beneficiaries against the annual target of Rs: 236 Corers and fiscal target of 59000 beneficiaries.
Under small enterprises, Banks have disbursed Rs. 45.78 Crores to 1782 beneficiaries against the annual target of Rs. 94.77 crores to 4767 beneficiaries.
The meeting was informed that under Micro Credit Sector Rs. 4.34 Crores were disbursed among 654 beneficiaries against the annual target of Rs. 5.2 Crores to 533 beneficiaries.
They further told in the meeting that under education sector during the period Rs. 2.35 crores were disbursed among 323 beneficiaries for obtaining higher education.
Under the housing sector, loans of Rs. 26.27 Corers were disbursed to 1512 beneficiaries against the target of Rs. 134 Crores to 2682 beneficiaries.
District Development Commissioner, Pulwama, Mr. Manzoor Ahmad Lone laid stress upon the bankers and concerned district level officers to implement the schemes on ground level and achieve the target in full within the framed time, so that the common masses especially the unemployed educated youth could be enable the establish their own income generating units.
