Delhi Businesswomen duped by former politician

Srinagar, May 06(KNB): A Delhi based businesswoman has alleged that former spokesperson of Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) and Youth Congress Sheikh Amir Mushtaq duped her of Rupees 11 lakh after luring her to start a cattle feed factory in Kashmir.

As a matter of fact, She further accused that besides transfer of Rupees 9 lakh to his account to start a business establishment in Kashmir, she has provided him laptop, phones and other basic gadgets valuing worth Rupees two lakh which he failed to return back.


As per sources, the victim was running education consultancy business in New Delhi and other foreign countries as well while she was interested to start up her business in the valley taking many young kashmiris as a part of her business establishment.

Former PYC spokesperson Amir Mushtaq of Delina Baramulla, who showed interest in her business movement in Kashmir, promised her to set up a cattle feed factory in partnership for which the victim transferred Rupees 9 lakh to the account of accused .

Despite many attempts of contacting him neither he received her calls nor any factory was started.

Pertinently, the Crime Branch of Jammu and Kashmir arrested Amir Mushtaq and is still behind the bars after the victim approached to Crime Branch and lodged a complaint against him.




Meanwhile after repeated calls Additional SP Mushtaq Chowdhary did not responded.(KNB)
