Clashes broke out after militant of Hizbul Mujahideen was killed on Wednesday in an encounter with a government forces in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, a police official said.
“The militant identified as Sharik Ahmad of Bandina village – was killed in the gunfight with forces today (Wednesday) in Naina Batpora village,” the official said.
“House in which the militants had taken cover was completely damaged in the gunfight”,Officials said.
